Camp Description
The William’s Narrows Outpost Camp is a newly renovated log cabin with new kitchen cupboards and the interior is all tongue and grove pine boards. The cabin has a cathedral ceiling with a big open living area and one bedroom downstairs and a bedroom upstairs. Right behind the cabin is the shower-house and the cabin has a generator for lights, pumping water and to heat water. It’s very rare to find a remote outpost camp with this level of comfort
William’s Narrows is fully equipped for housekeeping with everything you need such as lights, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, glasses, dishes, pots, pans and cutlery. Adjacent to the kitchen is a big kitchen table. The cabin is heated by wood burning stove. There is additional propane BBQ outside.
The bedroom upstairs has 3 single beds and a double bed, which sleeps 4 to 5 people. The downstairs bedroom had 2 bunk beds. One of the bunk beds is a double on the bottom so you can fit 4 to 5 people in this bedroom. In the living room is a futon couch that can be pulled out into a double bed. Potentially you could sleep 12 people in this cabin but that would be crowded.
Portage Lakes
A short portage off of Anishinabi will put you into some of the best Walleye, Northern, Perch lakes in the area.
