Our remote fly in outpost cabin on Highrock Lake is located on an island. This brand new large deluxe outpost cabin is the next generation of outpost adventures. It will make you forget what roughing it is all about. This stained water lake is 3 ½ – 4 miles long and 1 mile wide located on the highly productive Entwine River system. Highrock is an interesting lake with long narrow bays and boat access to Upper Highrock Lake via a small creek. The lake offers exceptional walleye fishing, trophy northern pike, and an abundance of smallmouth bass. There is moving water entering and leaving the lake making it a constant producer throughout the season. Walleye are king in these waters and can be found in great numbers on the many reefs, points, and break lines around the lake. The walleye average in the 17-21” range with many trophy fish pushing over the magical 30” mark. The walleye fishing is great for novice and pro alike and is some of the best in the area. The pike average in the 4-7# range with numerous 40”+ pike being caught and released each year. These pike are caught in the many weed beds on the lake feeding on the smaller walleye. There is nothing more fun than landing a monster pike. After getting your fill of pike and walleye, enjoy fishing for the smallmouth bass that are hiding in the boulder piles and on the rocky shorelines. These feisty fish average 2-3# with some pushing the 6# mark. They also congregate around the many flowages on the lake. This lake is truly a walleye factory and a multi species fishing paradise. Be sure to reserve your Highrock Lake fly in fishing trip today, the fishing and spacious cabin makes this a very popular destination.
