Camp Description

You’ll have no neighbors at Bee Lake, only the rare Woodland caribou and moose that our guests frequently spot along the shore while they’re fishing. Bee Lake, a fly in outpost, is probably one of the most outstanding smallmouth bass lakes in Ontario. Fishermen using light tackle and/or fly rods are discovering this, and many anglers have scored an all-time personal best with the bass that live here.

This beautiful, hand-hewn log cabin is a wilderness retreat right out of “Architectural Digest.” When you arrive you will be torn between hopping in the boat right away or kicking back on the deck with a cold one, knowing that the trophy smallmouth bass and walleyes will still be there waiting for you whenever you’re ready. The generous living area and four bedrooms mean that you can spread out and get comfy. The solar system means that there’s no generator noise to disturb the quiet and yet you’ll have plenty of electricity to power the lights and electric fridge. The indoor shower and flushing toilet are also welcome features.

The large variety of fish at Bee Lake consists of walleye, smallmouth bass, and northern pike.

Portage Lakes

Bee Lake is part of a long chain of waterways that include Raehill and Eden Lakes. Eden Lake is connected by a narrow channel and has an outstanding lake trout and bass fishery. There is also a 150 yard portage to Wingiskus Lake for additional Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass fishing.
