Nakina North Outfitters operates a fly-in outpost camp on Percy Lake out of Nakina, Ontario.
Percy Lake in Ontario offers spectacular walleye and large pike fishing especially in the spring as the walleye are conjugated at the mouths of the rivers after the spawn, and the big northern’s are not far behind feeding on them.
Percy Lake is approximately 7 miles long with depths up to 30 feet. It has two feeder rivers; Kapikotongwa River which entering from the west and Little Current that runs in and out of Percy Lake.
For the adventure enthusiast there is also 15 to 20 miles of river to explore down stream to Betty Falls. Those who do the trek all the way down to Betty can find brook trout at the falls and around the swifts on the way down.
Moose Hunting Camps
Moose hunting has proven to be great at Percy Lake due to the amount of feed along the shore line and along Little Current River. The 15 to 20 miles of river will give hunters lots of room to explore and look for fresh sign along the shores.
The north side of Percy and Little Current is WMU 17 and the south side of Percy Lake is 18A. This gives groups of hunters lots of options to archery and/or gun hunt out of the same camp at the same time.
