This is the perfect camp for the eco minded vacationer. You can scale the beautiful rock face (the easy way – up through the trees), explore the moose ponds of the Big River (it should be called – Little River) or walk Linklater Creek for fantastic brook trout fishing. Posh is located low in amongst some high hills where the world seems to pass over you. This small 500 acre lake is clam filtered and up to 120 feet deep.
A great place to enjoy the boreal forest primitive style. There is no quieter place on earth. Walleye fishing without the pressure and northern pike are on the daily menu.
This is the way it used to be. Propane lights .. No running water but it has a propane fridge .. stove .. and a gas grill and of course a Motorola 2-way radio. This is our camp on tiny Pawshowconk Lake. In recent years this camp has been mainly a moose hunt camp, but has very good walleye and pike fishing and most of all terrific brook trout fishing in Linklater Creek.
There is brook Trout fishing along Linklater Creek.
