For 28 years we have provided deluxe wilderness outpost fishing trips from our Armstrong location into beautiful Wabakimi Provincial Park and surrounding lakes.

Yes, we take you where the fishing is extraordinary, but there is more than fishing. Yearly family gatherings sharing a wilderness experience in comfort. Anticipation

Anticipation is one of life’s great tonics for adventure, and.. there we were, standing on a floating dock at the seaplane base on Mattice Lake south of Armstrong Station, enjoying one of those sun drenched mornings and feeling just like a kid again. Whether it’s your first time or twenty fifth time that family fishing vacation euphoria is magic!

“Light stuff first” said the pilot as he swung open the cargo door. “OK.. now i’ll take those coolers”. Of course we hung on his every word. It’s not every day you get to help load an airplane!

We have been waiting all year for this, and by gosh here we are. “Hand me the rod tubes young fellah, and we’re outta here”.

“Heaviest up front”.. guess that’s me. Sitting in a world famous Dehavilland Beaver is a feeling that is hard to explain. Nine cylinders, 450 horsepower it raw excitement on floats! It doesn’t get a whole lot better than this. I double check to make sure my camera is close at hand as the weather is simply beautiful this mornings flight.

“Door secured. Clear!” The dock man shouts back “Clear!” and then there is a sound of power that would make a Harley blush.

A few minutes pass and we are ready for our takeoff run. “Everyone ready?” the pilot asks as he pulls up the water rudders. “OK Let’s Go!”
