The cabin is now located on the Northwest portion of the lake several miles from the previous location. Carling Lake has a lot to offer for the angler. It has depths over 120 feet with some great structure to explore, being a large lake with lots of arms and bays to make exploring a lot of fun. Target fish here are walleye, pike and lake trout. Not only do you have Carling to fish, but, Mask Lake is also accessible by a short boat ride. The cabin will be renovated over the summer of 2020, with upgrades to the Slate Falls Outposts standards. The three bedroom cabin will feature all-solar lighting, fridge and freezer as well as a large covered deck. You will also see a small overflow bunkhouse here which has become very popular at our other locations. With all new main dock and a floating docks you see at are other cabins.
The lake connects several remote lakes through rugged hiking trails for the more adventurous souls.
