Arc Lake is part of the Miniss River system and is the first lake south and upstream of Miniss Lake where the rapids comes in. It is 23kms from Hooker Lake. Too far to get there from Hooker and vice versa but still a great piece of water. The lake has a lot of fishing spots to offer. Current spots that hold fish all summer. Deep basins to hold the bigger fish! Nice weed beds that big pike are lurking in.
Being lightly fished the in past years, it was mainly used as moose hunting camp that had great fishing! Now with a brand new outpost, Slate Falls Outposts will bring our standard conservation policies to the lake to ensure the fishing will remain at the volume and size that our guests expect. Spring of 2019 seen the construction of a new facility, that reflects our standard style and commitment to quality. Group sizes at Arc will from 4 to 8 people with 2 bedrooms in the main cabin and 2 in the bunkhouse cabin.
The Miniss River system connects Arc Lake to 8 lakes on the lake system, including Taper, Vincent, Hooker, Cutliffe, Peg, Yam and Lawson Lakes. They are all accessible from our location by boat.
