Camp Description

For those who like to explore, this is your lake. As well as producing wonderful fishing for walleye and pike close to our camp, this lake offers historical buildings, two dams, berry picking, and much more. This is why we have two canoes, two sea kayaks, three boats and motors for guest use and enjoy our eco-tourism site.

Fish for walleye and Pike at Biscotasi Lake! The camp sleeps 6, in two bedrooms. Biscotasi is our newest fly-in outpost camp and our Eco Tourism location. Enjoy canoeing or sea kayaking on 30 miles of waterway, with many islands and bays waiting to be explored. Pitch your tent or return to a cozy camp each evening and relax those paddling arms in a Sauna bath house while planning tomorrow’s adventure.

Guests can plan short trips with the canoes or kayaks, camp out (there are plenty of ideal camp sites) using your own camping gear, and go exploring bays and islands. About 10 miles North of our camp, Biscotasi Village is well worth a visit. Our camp is a new two bedroom log structure with a large deck, BBQ, and sauna. The cabin is spacious , inviting, and all set up for the gourmet cook too. Beds are bunk style. This is an ideal location to introduce the entire family to a fly-in vacation, without driving for hours. We are closer than you think.

Biscotasi lake is one of the starting points to canoe the Spanish River too. There are also other drop off points to start to paddle down the Spanish River that can be customized to suit you, the length of your vacation, or numbers in your group. We rent canoes too. As well as the Spanish River, we can also help you plan a trip on the Wanapitei River.
