Dasant Lake is located 145 miles north of our base and just to the east of Shikag Lake. This lake is 4-5 miles long and a couple of miles across. We have the only cabin on this lake and it is built amongst some beautiful pine trees on a neat sand beach overlooking Dasant Lake. This is a large comfortable cabin that can accommodate up to 10 fishermen. Both of these lakes are loaded with an abundance of walleyes and northerns plus a bonus of some smallmouth bass for the fisherman that can entice them into hitting his bait. Don’t miss out on one of these trips. Like one of our clients said when he returned from his fly-in fishing trip in this area: “You folks put on one hell-of-a-show.”
Dasant Lake is connected to Pipio Lake by a small stream. From Pipio Lake you can go down the Shikag River a mile or two and fish the large bays on the east end of Shikag Lake. You can also pull your boat over a small beaver dam and fish a long arm of Pipio Lake that has some great walleye and some smallmouth bass fishing when they are biting.
